Joe Crenshaw
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
As one of the founding families and first President and CEO of New Frontier Bank, Joe has been with New Frontier Bank since the beginning. Previous to starting New Frontier Bank Joe was a National Bank examiner for 7 years, worked for Mercantile Bancorporation for 12 years and Lindell Bank for one year. Joe serves as President of the Board of Directors for FISH of St. Charles. Joe also serves on the Board of Directors for the Habitat for Humanity of St. Charles County. Joe graduated from the University of Mississippi and from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado, University of Colorado. Joe and his wife Joan are the proud parents of Jackie, Meredith, and Danny. Joe enjoys playing golf and fishing.
Kris Weidenbenner
President and Senior Lender
Kris joined New Frontier Bank in August of 2007, as Senior Vice President and Senior Lender. In September 2008, Kris was promoted to President and Senior Lender of New Frontier Bank and was elected to the Board of Directors. Kris oversees the bank’s operation and profitability. Kris started in banking and finance after graduating from Western Illinois University in 1981. Previous to joining New Frontier Bank Kris worked for First State Bank of Mendota as a Commercial and Agriculture Lender, Senior Lender for UnionBank West, Market President for USBank, Senior Vice President and Chief Lending Officer for Citizens Savings Bank, and Senior Vice President with Main Street Bank. Kris and his wife are the proud parents of three children. Kris enjoys playing golf, St. Louis Cardinals baseball and watching his kids play sports.
Shelly Reuther
Chief Financial Officer
Shelly has been with New Frontier Bank since December of 1999, and has over 30 years of banking experience. Her responsibilities consist of Financial Reporting, Asset/Liability management and Operations. Prior to joining New Frontier Bank Shelly worked for Mercantile Bankcorporation, Centerre Bancorporation and Centerre Bank of Chesterfield in areas of Accounting, Bank Operations, Community Bank Administration, Acquisitions/Integrations, and Audit. Shelly is active in the St. Charles Optimist Club and is a member of the St. Charles Crisis Nursery Blue Ribbon Committee. Shelly also participates in other events such as Old News Boys Day, St. Charles County Shower of Love and the Salvation Army Tree of Lights Campaign.
Joan Crenshaw
Manager of Credit Administration and Compliance, Senior Vice President
Joan has been with New Frontier Bank since the initial discussions of chartering a new bank in St. Charles County in 1999. Joan has been in banking since college, starting as a teller with Manufacturers Bank & Trust, working as an Assistant National Bank Examiner upon graduation from Iowa State University, and working for UMB Bank, N.A. when she and her family moved to St. Louis. She also managed her own company providing compliance consulting services for clients throughout the country, ranging from small community banks to national companies. Over the last several years, Joan has presented Identity Theft Workshops throughout St. Charles County in a variety of venues.
Larry Lund
President of New Frontier Personal Investment Centers, Inc.
Larry has been with New Frontier Personal Investment Centers, Inc. since August of 2001. As a Certified Financial Planner he is able to offer comprehensive independent financial planning services to individuals and business owners. Larry also serves on the Board of Directors for the not-for-profit Unlimited Play. Unlimited Play designs and builds playgrounds that are accessible to all children regardless of their physical abilities. Larry graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia with a BA in Economics. Larry enjoys and is active in music, golf, motorcycles, boating and photography.
